Mayan Cafe is hosting Market Mondays!

Every Monday evening from June – August, we will feature a different local farm by offering specials that showcase their freshest produce, meats & cheeses. For us, this is the height of farm to table cooking – vegetables literally in the ground on Monday morning and on your plate Monday night.

We are so excited for our 4th summer of these incredible dinners. This year, all of our participating farmers are offering a 20% discount when you save your guest check from any Monday night dinner and take it to their market stands. We want to encourage our customers to eat sustainably on Monday nights with us and at your home every other night of the week!

If you are interested in growing garden plants to cut, whether for an occasional spray or daily arrangements, you won’t want to miss this class. Learn what varieties to grow; annuals, perennials and even trees and shrubs for arrangements that look great and last. Learn how to condition cuts, how to put them together and how to get the most out of your own garden.

Don’t miss this second annual event! Last year’s Farm to Table Dinner was a smashing success and sold out quickly. Kathy Cary of Lily’s will turn a harvest of locally-produced meats, cheeses, produce and wines into a fabulous feast. We’ll have on hand the farmers responsible for growing and producing all the ingredients, giving you a chance to meet the farmers and gardeners who produce our food. Come support our local farmers and enjoy an outstanding evening amidst the exquisite gardens of Yew Dell.
